Core:Â composed of soft wax for a smooth and creamy lay down. These pencils are highly blendable with a high perecentage of pigment for maximum vibrancy.
Lightfastness:Â compliant with the highest international standards concerning colour pencil’s lightfastness ASTM D-6901, rated as Very Good.
Please note:
These pencils have a very soft core due to the soft wax used to make them. This means they are more likely to have broken cores compared to other pencil ranges. If this occurs, you can help to reform the wax by warming the pencil on a warm radiator.Â
I have also noticed that some pencils have hairline cracks in the paintwork. This does not affect their use.
I cannot take any responsibility for broken cores or hairline cracks.

Packaging
Every order is packaged in a way to protect your purchase. We have finessed this over the last 10 years to use fully-recyclable, non-plastic packaging that gives the biggest protection without using lots of resources. We do sometimes reuse packaging from stock deliveries, and this is the only time we will send with bubble wrap or other plastic packaging.
Shipping
We try to be as fair as possible with the postage pricing. We operate dynamic pricing, reflective of the current costs of sending post. The reason for our pricing structure is to ensure your parcel has the appropriate insurance and tracking to increase the chance of its safe delivery wherever you are in the world. The postage options that you receive are dependent upon what is in your basket and you will see them whilst processing your order. If you are unsure, please select the ‘Contact me’ option upon checking out, and I will get in touch so that we can proceed with your order.
December 2024 Update: Unfortunately we cannot send to anywhere in Europe or Northern Ireland at the present time. This is due to new product safety regulations. We hope that we will be able to ship there again in future. Everywhere else in the world is unaffected.
Any orders travelling outside of the U.K. require a customs declaration form. You will not be charged our U.K. VAT at 20%. When you go to check out and the website recognises you are not within the U.K., the VAT will not be billed to you. However, you will be charged your own country’s taxes and a handling charge when it reaches the destination country. This varies for each country. We are not responsible for any custom taxes or charges you have to pay on receiving your order. If you refuse the parcel on arrival and it is returned to us we will only refund the value of the goods minus 10% to cover the cost of administrating your order.
USA Shipping: Orders going to the US are now subject to the US tariffs. These are tariffs that are due to the US government and have to be paid before the parcel will be granted entry to the US. The tariff is based on where the goods are made, not where they are being sent from:
Made in the UK: 10% tariff
Made in Europe (except Switzerland): 15% tarriff
Made in Switzerland: 39% tariff
The tariff will be calculated manually based on the order content and payment will be requested before the order can be sent.
It is possible the US postal system may apply extra charges but so far that hasn’t been experienced.
We will aim to despatch your order within 1-3 working days (Monday to Friday) after the order is received. Please be aware that I also work part-time alongside the business so cannot always respond immediately to email correspondence or messages. Same day despatch is not possible unless specifically requested by prior arrangement. We will keep you informed as to the status of your order.
