Aquabord is crafted from our premium warp-resistant 1\/8″ FSC-certified Hardbord\u2122 that is protected with our proprietary Archiva-Seal\u2122 and coated with an acid-free clay and mineral ground with a texture similar to cold-pressed watercolour paper. Colours retain their purity and vibrancy in a way that even the finest of watercolour papers can’t match and Aquabord allows artists to frame and display their watercolour without glass.<\/p>\n
TIP: Apply a thin layer of water to the Aquabord surface using a flat watercolour brush to release trapped air. Once the surface is slightly damp and no more visible air is releasing, apply colour.<\/p>\n
